Gertrude: Love sick son?

My poor boy is still acting so strangly. I pray to God he recovers from this madness. Im sure that it is only due to my hasty marriage and the death of his father, but Polonius has convinced Claudius otherwise. He claims that Hamlet is madly in love with Ophelia. Just the other day my dear Hamlet went to her chamber is a state of disarray and rambled on about his love for her. It is true that since Polonius restricted Ophelia from seeing him, he has been quite odd. Now that I think about it, the source of Hamlets madness could very well be at the hands of Ophelia. Oh Fie! My poor lovesick boy!
